Blyth Town's game against Whitley Bay Reserves saw the game postponed due a waterlogged pitch 30 minutes before kick off.

Star are in confident mood going into this game having taken the spoils against a very good Newcastle Chemfica side last weekend and have won 3 of the last 4 games.

Striker Andrew Bulford has said its a game we have to win!and in front of a home crowd who will get behind the team this has the makings of a very exciting game.

Only 2 points seperate the sides with Blyth currently sitting 8th in the division on 11 points with a game in hand over Blue Star.

Blyth Town's Shaun Gibson currently sits 8th in the leagues scoring charts with 6 goals and will look to work the Blue Star defence during the game.

Blyth have scored 15 goals in the league so far this season conceding 11 in the process.

Blue Star will be in buoyannt mood after an impressive display winning the the previous game 2-0 and manager Steve Preen will have the players up for it from the first whistle.
