Newcastle Blue Star FC is growing.

From our youngest players taking their first steps in football to our senior teams representing the club at the highest level, our ambition is simple: to provide the very best environment possible for everyone who wears the Blue Star shirt.

Now, we need your help to take the next step.

We are calling on 100 local businesses to pledge £1,000 each to help us raise the £100,000 needed to completely redevelop our main playing surface.

We want to build a pitch fit for the future.

Our current pitch is well maintained and we are incredibly proud of the work carried out by our hardworking grounds team.

However, the stadium sits on former mine and landfill land, meaning the conditions underneath the pitch present challenges that cannot simply be solved through routine maintenance.

A full redevelopment will allow us to create a Professional Academy-quality playing surface, complete with inbuilt irrigation, providing the best possible conditions for our players throughout the year.

This isn't simply about improving a football pitch.

It's about protecting the future of our football club.

Newcastle Blue Star FC has grown significantly in recent years.

Our junior section now supports teams from Under-6s through to Under-18s, alongside our senior men's and women's football.

We are now at capacity.

That means demand for our facilities is greater than ever — and having a reliable, high-quality playing surface is essential.

A pitch that can withstand the demands of year-round football will help us:

• Reduce cancellations and postponements caused by poor weather

• Provide better and safer playing conditions

• Give our junior players the environment they deserve

• Support more consistent training throughout the season

• Improve the experience for players, coaches and supporters

• Create a professional environment across every level of the club

• Help us continue growing without compromising standards

The club provides somewhere for people to play football, make friends, stay active, develop their skills and feel part of something.

Whether you're a long-standing Blue Star supporter, a business based locally, or simply someone who wants to invest in grassroots sport and the local community, we'd love to have you alongside us.

In return, as well as changing the future of the football club, each business will receive a 5 year Season Ticket and their own dedicated seat in the Alan Smith Stand, as well as their own name or business advertised within the ground for 5 years.
