A new front man: Euan Potts joins Newcastle Blue Star
Newcastle Blue Star are thrilled to announce the signing of forward Euan Potts, the talented 25-year old committing to NE15 following an impressive pre-season campaign.
Having represented both Blyth Spartans & Blyth Town last season, Pottsy brings valuable experience from the Northern Premier League, and a natural eye for goal.
This was on display for all at NE15 yesterday as the forward scored a delightful solo goal vs Jarrow in our fourth pre-season friendly.
Welcoming our latest signing of the summer, First Team Manager Paul Brayson said: “It’s taken a bit of time to get this one over the line, but we are chuffed to have Pottsy on board. He’s understandably had a number of clubs chase him this summer, but this is a position we really needed to recruit for, and are thrilled to have his services secured.”
Following his signing, new man Euan Potts said: “I’m buzzing to sign for the club and can’t wait for the season to get started.
"Looking forward to playing in front of the support, hopefully we can make this a successful year for everyone involved."
