Summer signing number 3 has landed in NE15, as Newcastle Blue Star welcomes the highly rated and sought after Joe Eggleston, who joins us from Alnwick Town.

The talented youngster, who scored an absolute worldie against us back in March 2023 up at St James’ Park, has already racked up over 150 appearances for his former club and will be no stranger to new assistant manager Richie Latimer who award Eggy Managers Player of the Season at Alnwick’s 24/25 end of season awards.

A player capable of causing chaos down the wing, Eggy will bring an exciting dimension to the team and is an addition that we are sure will excite fans when they watch him in pre-season.

Commenting on his third addition of the summer, manager Paul Brayson said: “Eggy is a really talented young player, and that was reflected in the number of clubs after him this summer.

“We are delighted to have been able to bring him to NE15, and surrounded by the great lads we already have here, he’s got the perfect opportunity to develop and take his game to the next level.
