Newcastle Blue Star are delighted to announce the signing of talented central midfielder Danny Anderson, becoming Paul Brayson’s second signing of the summer.
With a background including Northern Premier League game time at Blyth Spartans, League Cup winning Ashington AFC, and playing against the Star for North Shields last season, Anderson will bring both skill and experience to NE15.
A player who likes to dictate the game and make moments happen, Anderson will strengthen the core of our XI and give more options in the middle of the park.
First Team Manager Paul Brayson welcomed Anderson to the KD Stadium, saying: “As soon as we became aware of Danny being available, we knew he would be a quality addition to the side.
“He’s a very talented player, comfortable on the ball and likes to run the show from the middle of the park. Despite only being mid-20s he’ll also bring experience from playing in the higher leagues. A great addition to the squad, and I know the fans will enjoy watching him play this season.”
NE15s newest signing Danny Anderson, said: “The management and Chairman have been top draw with me, good people and a good club.
"It’s a good place to play with the amount of support that gets through the door so I’m looking forward to be playing in front of that.
"It’s time to get together with the lads, work hard and repay the lads for trusting and getting me in for the job.
"I’m just wanting to let my football do the talking and get as many points in the board for this football club”
Great to have you on board, Danny.
