We asked the team behind the content about their favourite moments of the 25/26 campaign......

Favourite Game
Ben: “Slightly obscure choice but Crook Town at home - had been rough few weeks after Nashy & several players left, so was buzzing for the lads to perform so well & get 3 points.”
Dan: “Heaton Stan FA Cup win - a fantastic late strike from Leon Burke to claim a cup scalp and give us a home tie with Marine.”
Barry: “Kendal Home 4-1 – Classic assist’s by Collins, great goals from Reidy and Stephenson, including one of Dans was a genuine screamer. It could have been 6 or 7 against a strong team.”
Sam: “Heaton Stannington (H) - A monumental day in the clubs history, which will go down as possibly our greatest ever win!”

Favourite Moment
Ben: “Naming a few because I’m indecisive and I write this thing so can do what I want:
Lanning 100th goal
Penrith (A) 1-6 win
Heaton Stan win
Carlisle City (A)
Kendal Town (H)”
Dan: “Connor Oliver's rocket of a free kick at West Auckland on the night he retired.”
Barry: “Leon Burke’s late winner against Heaton Stan in the FA Cup is, without a doubt one of the best non-league moments. You just can’t replicate that kind of last-minute adrenaline anywhere else. It was a massive goal and an even bigger win—the kind of magic only the FA Cup can produce.”
Sam: “The full time scenes at Carlisle City, with all of our fans in fine voice cheering the lads off, after a win which some would say, “the start of something special we have been building.”

Favourite Away Day
Ben: “Easington Colliery (1-4) was a brilliant win & performance, as were both the trips to Penrith.
But going to have to say Carlisle City - first win for Brassy, Boxing Day, several missing....massive moment.”
Dan: “Carlisle City on Boxing Day. I absolutely loved the fight of the team on the trip. Felt like the first genuine building block for this current crop.”
Barry: “Penrith Away 4-1 Tuesday night - totally soaked but great results especially after going 1 down and coming back to win. Honestly, I think I’m still drying out from that one”
Sam: “Carlisle City (A) - An unbelievable Boxing Day trip, with a great bunch of people creating a great atmosphere to support Brassy onto his 1st win as our new Gaffa.”
