Returning to the KD Stadium……welcome back Collins.
Newcastle Blue Star are thrilled to announce that Collins Unuareokpa, the talented former Blue Star Academy forward, has returned NE15 and become Paul Brayson’s newest recruit.
Joining from Whickham FC, Collins featured against the lads in our recent fixture at Glebe Sports Ground, showing off the pace, directness and tenacity that fans can expect to see in the coming weeks.
A charismatic and lively player, Collins will bring fantastic energy to both the pitch, and dressing room.
First Team Manager Paul Brayson had the following to say about his latest addition: “Collins is a hard working, attacking player, who is very direct. We saw that when we played Whickham recently.
"He's an exciting addition to the side who will bring creativity, goals, and assists to the team."
After signing on the dotted line, Collins added: “I'm happy to be here and back at Blue Star. Between now and the end of the season the aim is just to win as many games as possible, and hopefully become a fan favourite along the way."
Collins joins up the squad immediately ahead of our trip to Penrith tomorrow.
